About Me :)

I really feel a need to make an About Me post for some reason. My name is Evan (dream name Hailie  :)) and I'm a middle-school cyberschooler. Which is really awesome, so feel free to ask me whatever questions you want about that. I live...I'm not going to say exactly what state, but I live on the East Coast of the USA.

Outside of American Girls, I love sports, singing, acting, karate, and dance! I play basketball, soccer (currently indoor), and softball in leagues along with playing tennis for fun (I'd say I'm an above-average player for my age in my area). In basketball, I'm...The person who everyone dishges the ball to to shoot and make layups. I made 12 points this weekend at my first game (the total score was 22-21, we won)! In soccer, I play keeper and offense...I scored two goals at my game today (indoor, but I play outdoor)! I'm learning to pitch softball. I also do karate (I'm a camo belt in taekwondo), singing, acting (I've been in eight plays, I think), and modern dance.

I first got into American Girls when I was in about first grade; I got my first doll in the summer of 2005 for my birthday. She was Marisol, and I looooved year. I got Elizabeth the Christmas of that year though my mom still wanted me to "stick to one doll". So long for THAT. When I saw pretty dolls that I wanted, I wanted them and I didn't stop until I got them! The subsequent year I bought Jess with my own money when my younger sister got her for birthday (my sister's first AG doll). I got Kirsten my birthday that year and my sister got Samantha some time that year (because we think she got Nellie for Christmas 2006 and she got Nellie after Samantha). In 2007, my sister was given Nicki for her birthday and I got Emily for Christmas. Soon after that, I kind of grew out of American Girls and was obsessed with (the much cheaper) webkinz. My sister got Josefina for x-mas 08 and Kaya for x-mas 09. However, she played with them occasionally in her room and I wasn't involved at all, nor was she really "into" AG like we are now. In July 2010, just one day, my sister had gotten bored and dressed up our AG dolls. I happened to walk into her room with the dolls on the floor and well...The rest was history! My sister bought Felicity and we are very much into American Girl dolls now!

Hey!

Hi, I'm Evan, and this is my new American Girl blog. It's something I've been thinking about starting for a few months and finally decided to do! I plan on posting the latest AG news, things about my dolls, and just posting about american girl topics in general. I'll also make note of awesome Etsy American Girl products and deals on ebay, cause, hey, I look at that stuff. :) I hope you enjoy this blog!
